Drinking Tea Could Lower Skin Cancer Risk

cup-of-tea.jpgA cup of tea everyday may be just what the doctor ordered in cutting your risk with two common cancers.

Findings, published in the  Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, conclude that drinking one to two cups of tea everyday could reduce the chances of developing  common forms of skin cancers by 20 to 30 percent.

The study  included 2, 200 adults, researchers found that by drinking tea, participants  had a lower risk of developing squamous cell and basal cell carcinoma. both are considered the most common forms of skin cancer.
